Near the Geha Intersection (all roads in Israel are named by their intersections, I have no idea why), someone spotted the interesting juxtapositioning (always wanted to find a reason to use that word) of these two signs. Sagi sent me the picture which appeared in a local paper. The sign in front, advertising a placement firm, reads "Stuck with labor (work) that does not suit you", and behind is an election sign for Ehud Barak, head of the labor party (and our current minister of war in Gaza). Maybe he will get the message.

Hallo Blackybety,
Just don't get your info about street naming according to intersections. By definition, every street has at least two intersections (one at each end). So how do you manage??
But there is some more urgent problem on my mind. Right now, the media provide us with a tsunami of Gaza reporting and I see those Israeli soldiers wearing something really strange on the head. Don't know anybody to ask so I ask you. What is this kind of baggy shopping bag and why???

It is called a "Mitznefet".
It is used to "break" the perfect round shape of the helmet which just pops up very quickly to the sharp shooter vision.
It works better when you are peeking behind a rock or walking with something (hill) in the background.
