The Wall

Well it's boiling here today and I have no energy. So I am posting pictures of blackdaughtero's room walls. There is enough to read on these to keep you busy for a while. Aren't we cool parents to allow such a thing.

Please tell your daughter that Sweet Dreams was written by the Eurythmics? Maybe then my left eye will stop twitching :)

What can you do. We live in a generation that believes "Behind Blue Eyes" is by Limp Bizkit (hate those z's), "American Pie" is by Madonna etc. I will address this heinous error with blackdaughtero, you have my word. And just when I thought we had the whole parenting thing down. Sigh.

As a matter of fact, I do happen to know that sweet dreams was written by Eurythmics, and not as shown by Marilyn Manson. However the person who does not know that is my friend. Most of the stuff written/drawn on my walls is not done by me. ok ok, I did the nice looking things. I also happened to shout at this friend of mine for making such a crucial mistake. And balckfathero, it would be a lie to say that I do not understand in music or the classics, because you yourself know that I do.

My eye stopped twitching, so it's all good.

(I do prefer Marilyn's version, I have to say. Annie Lennox's voice makes me want to rip out my ears and beat myself to death with them.)
