Joy

Last night I drove up to Jerusalem to visit an old friend I had not seen in 30 years. Since we finished high school in fact. The hours flew by. Her life has not been particularly smooth, but she still has the same laugh and bright blue eyes and she is as wacky as ever. I am always surprised by the perfect fresh air in Jerusalem. As we sat outside and struggled to compress thirty years into a few hours, a familiar cool wind whipped around Mt. Scopus. All I can say is, thanks.
