Once again I'm the last to know. Maybe because I never watch TV. A few days ago I bought the excellent compilation "Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur". I read some reviews and it's thought to contain some of the best John Lennon covers. Now blackwifeo likes covers. So I bought it even though it's two years old. There is an excellent version of "Jealous Guy" by Youssou N'Dour (although I still think the live Roxy Music version is the best I've heard).
I have to say the Green Day version of Working Class Hero is great. Here's the video, with its powerful message about the horrors of the war in Darfur.
